MAY 2009 NEWSLETTER LFC Shield is on the move.. Since Shield Policies was acquired by the LFC Insurance Group recently, there have been considerable improvements to policy covers.  Most policies will now benefit from a completely new wording when they renew and these are spelt out below.  Our latest insurance partner is Sterling Insurance Group, one of the UK's most innovative insurance companies. New wordings are now in place for: By now, you should all be in receipt of a letter from me announcing our imminent change of location.  After many years at Feering we have taken new office space near our Group HQ in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex.  Our new contact details are shown on the left and take effect from Monday 1st June 2009. We are determined to keep any disruption to our service down to a minimum but, during the course of the move, could you please note the following: We will have no access to our computer systems between lunchtime on Thursday 28th May and early on Monday 1st June. Therefore, between Noon on Thursday 28th May and 9am on Monday 1st June, no e-mails will be actioned.  On Thursday afternoon and Friday 29th May, we can take emergency telephone calls on our existing number 01206 212960, but please bear with us if we cannot deal with your enquiry fully until the following week.   We are taking the opportunity of the move to add experienced resources to the LFC Shield team under Graham Argyle (Senior Underwriter) and Cheryl Croft (Support Supervisor).  Further details will follow when the enhanced team is finalised.
